The light came from its backside in its photo in Brunei. So it is kind of hard to figure out whether the darker and overlapped part behind the bridge was the shadow of the room or the room itself.

I will conduct a experiment by setting a similar light condition and use my 1:700 Musashi to take pictures in the similar angle. My Musashi has the same room that Yamato use. From the left side, there was an obvious overlap between the crew room and the bridge.

Musashi has fewer high-angle guns than Yamato, so it has fewer personnel.
The size of Yamato and the TAIKISYO may be the same as Yamato, or it may be small.

I judged that it was small from the photograph Musashi in Brunei and installed the tranning-gun in the vacant space.

But I think it may be on the deck also.

Do you think the training gun had been canceled after renovation? Fujimi used a full size crew ready room. How did you choose a square-like shape?

Thanks

I would like to change training gun position. I still not find find suitable position for it.

Thanks, do you still believe there was a "training anti-aircraft gun" on the left side of the "兵员待机所"?

Thanks for your respond. I think the underwater investigation may help us make the right decision.

NHK's "战舰 武藏的 最期" provided a 3D CG model of Musashi. However, the part of "兵员待机室" is
alway not in shots, which means it didn't highlight this part.

A Gakken book--戦艦「武蔵」の真実https://hon.gakken.jp/book/1861089400# may provide a
3d model of Musashi's wreck under the water. I just saw a limit number of page. Since this book has been out of stock for many years, It is not available to hold one on my hand.

Also, I have some screenshot of the original underwater investigation which may indicate the shape
of the"兵员待机室" . Could I know your Email or other social media, so we can talk further.

I saw this two models in below URLs
1999.co.jp/10609485
1999.co.jp/image/10566534/30/2

Correct shape is still not clear.
They follow that Musashi crews said Musashi and Yamato has different shape 兵員待機所.
Pit-road may be follow my Musashi model idea, squae shape.
Fujimi arranged my idea.

I think square shape from Musashi picture.

Did you review Fujimi's Next02 and Pit-road's W201? I just wandered which was the correct shape of
the crew ready room. (兵员待机室)
